14-year-old child was killed headshot

Forty-year-old Dmitro, one of the Human Rights Watch interlocutors, fled with his family from Bucha. They spent a couple of nights in the basement of a two-story house in Vorzel.

Dmitro told us that there was a woman with chest and leg wounds in the basement together with them. She died of wounds on 8 of March. Dmitro together with some locals buried her next to the house

He was told that on 6th March, Russian soldiers threw a smoke bomb into the basement. Some people panicked and ran outdoors, Russians opened fire on them. A woman was wounded and a 14-year-old child was killed headshot.
